Mindanao Peace Week in NDDU

(Last week of November)

This year's theme: "Love of God and Love of Neighbor A Challenge for Mindanao."

I have known this kind of week celebration when I was on my third year in high school. And the only reason was because our teacher asked us to join a contest in MSU-CETD. We really had no idea about the contest that we were about to join. Our teacher just told us "Basta about Peace Peace lang yan..." and we were like what the hell ! what do we know about peace peace thingy?  I was studying in Glan that time; so there we went, we arrived at Gensan after an hour ride and found our way to MSU high school for the said contest. Haha! What's on my mind really was...it's really a wrong choice to go here.  And, I'm right! We just like went there and sat on the seats prepared for us, raised a small board with our answer upon every question...oh I mean every time we can think of an answer to the question since some of the questions were so like foreign to us. We really had no idea as in super literal. haha! The next thing I can remember is that moment wherein we were given each a bar pin as a remembrance for the contest. Then, we had an amazing afternoon in the mall after. Waaaa.
